Full Pool Cage Rescreen in Lehigh Acres, FL

This Lehigh Acres project was a true full-cage rescreen on one of the larger pool enclosures our crew handles. The cage required multiple scaffold setups and two-tier access to reach the upper sections, so this was less about filming and more about getting everybody working and moving from panel to panel until the entire enclosure was complete.

A Big Pool Cage From the Start

From the beginning, this wasn't a small repair or a handful of torn panels. The entire pool cage was being rescreened, and the enclosure was large enough that the crew arrived with multiple scaffold sections and a two-tier setup for the upper work.

Bigger cages change the pace of a rescreen. There is more screen to remove and install, more height to reach, and more time spent repositioning access equipment as the crew works through each section.

Multiple Scaffold Setups for the Upper Panels

The height of this enclosure required scaffold access throughout the project. Instead of trying to reach upper openings from a single location, the crew moved the work platforms as the rescreen progressed around the cage.

Project reality: On a large enclosure, access and setup are part of the job. Every time the crew moves to a new upper section, the work area has to move with them.

Working Section by Section

Once the crew got moving, the project became a steady push through the enclosure. Lower sections could be handled from the ground while the upper screen openings required scaffold access.

With several people working different parts of the cage, the goal was to keep the project moving without sacrificing the finished look of each panel.

Why Large Pool Cage Rescreens Take More Work

A full rescreen on a large cage is different from repairing a few panels. The crew has to handle the entire enclosure, including the upper sections that take more setup and more physical movement throughout the day.

The size of the cage also affects how quickly the crew can progress. On this job, everybody had to stay moving because there was a lot of screen to complete before calling the project finished.

Crew status: Big cage. Four scaffold sections. Everybody working. Nobody hiding.

The Finished Full-Cage Rescreen

By the end of the project, the entire pool cage had been rescreened. This wasn't a selective repair or partial replacement; the whole enclosure received new screen from the lower walls through the upper cage sections.

For homeowners with screen failing throughout an enclosure, a full rescreen can make more sense than continuing to replace panels one at a time. It gives the cage a consistent finished appearance and addresses the screen throughout the structure in one project.

Project FAQs

Was the entire pool cage rescreened?

Yes. This was a full-cage rescreen, not a partial repair. The entire enclosure was rescreened.

Why were multiple scaffolds needed?
